Of the 2 types of acid rain nitrogen oxide is the one that damages humans more, the nitrogen oxide affects your membranes
in the respiratory system. This can damage your lungs and other respiratory organs. Nitrogen oxide also causes damage in the
atmosphere and is responsible for smog. It can also spread far from the location of the acid rain and acid rain is said to
be accountable for damage in the brain that cause Alzheimer disease.
Some direct problems that people suffer from sulfur acid rain are that it can cause asthma, headaches, colds and other
respiratory problems. Slightly indirect, but after the acid rain the plant soak up the toxins in the water through there roots,
the humans eat these plants and animals and end up being extremely sick from it. In 1982 the U.S found that acid rain was
linked to 200,000 people getting sick.
